Transportation is a problem for many - Become a Volunteer

Become a volunteer! Transportation in Hope and surrounding area is a problem for many, and with Care Transit having over 350 people who depend on our services to care for their whole health transport requirements, you can image our need for volunteer drivers.

Our volunteer drivers are the people who are at the heart of Care Transit, and without them it would not be possible to provide this much needed and caring service. So why not consider joining our great team and help by “Giving Our Community A Life”.    Get an application form here.

Volunteer Drivers

  • use their own vehicle

  • choose the days, times and locations they wish to drive

  • are reimbursed for mileage and parking

  • receive free supplemental insurance

  • have the opportunity to serve their community in a really meaningful way.

Bus Drivers Needed

We are also looking for volunteer drivers with a class four license to drive our wheelchair accessible bus. The bus provides transport for small groups as well as those requiring wheelchair access.
